EasyMail can be downloaded and used for free. We did that as we wanted to make the app available for as many people as possible. Even though EasyMail is a very passionate project, we had to include ads in the free version of the app. This allows us to cover server costs and to spend further time in its development.

EasyMail is available exclusively for Windows 10 and Windows 11.

By focusing exclusively on Windows, we're able to ensure that the app feels native and fully utilizes the operating system's features. This focus allows us to optimize performance and deliver a seamless integration with Windows-specific functionalities, providing you with the best possible user experience.

For Android and iPhones, we recommend using the native apps provided by the service providers themselves.

EasyMail integrates websites deeper into the OS and makes them easily accessible. To integrate mail accounts into EasyMail using IMAP, we would have to build an additional native frontend. This is currently out of the scope of EasyMail as the app focuses on embedding websites.

Currently, EasyMail does not support the installation of additional Chrome extensions like Mailtrack, Grammarly, or other browser add-ons.

We understand that extensions are valuable for many users, and we're exploring the possibility of adding support for popular extensions in a future update.

EasyMail is based on the web-rendering technology of Microsoft Edge. In some cases, Google promotes the usage of its own web browser through its webservices. Therefore, the notification is shown by the Google webservice and not by EasyMail itself. This might even happen when you have Chrome already installed.

If you press No on the notification, the notification should not be shown again.

We tried to make the feedback dialog as unobtrusive as possible. We currently show the rating dialog the first time after 10 launches. Before the second rating dialog is shown, a minimum of 30 days must have passed.

However, you can easily prevent the app from showing such a dialog by checking the checkbox "Don't show again".

Depending on your chosen Navigation layout you will find the logout button on different positions.

If you have the Topbar Navigation mode activate:

1. Please open the dropdown menu by clicking on the three dots in the top right corner of the app.
2. Then click on Logout.

If you have the Sidebar Navigation mode activate:

1. Please expand the sidebar by clicking on the hamburger button (three horizontal lines).
2. Then click on the logout icon, which is next to the “add account” button.

If you proceed with the logout this will log you out from all accounts which have been added to EasyMail.

Hint: Unfortunately, it is not possible to logout from one account only. The reason is that some accounts use the same authentication cookie which gets invalid in such a case. To prevent malfunction, we remove all accounts at once. If you want to stay logged in with some accounts, please follow the logout procedure written above. After the logout completed, please log into EasyMail again with all the accounts which should remain.

You can uninstall EasyMail the same way as all other apps from the Microsoft Store:

1. Open the Windows Start menu and make a right-click on the EasyMail icon.
2. Click on Uninstall in the context menu.

Yes, EasyMail prioritizes your security. The app leverages the WebView2 SDK, which is part of the Windows platform, ensuring that all login data is handled within the secure confines of the WebView2 environment. This means that your cookies and login credentials are stored locally on your PC and are not transmitted elsewhere. With these measures in place, EasyMail provides a secure framework for managing your online services while maintaining the privacy of your personal information.

EasyMail offers several keyboard shortcuts to help you navigate efficiently:

• Alt + [number] - Switch between your accounts (Alt+1 for the first account, Alt+2 for the second, etc.)
• Ctrl + [number] - Switch between subapps within the current service (Ctrl+1, Ctrl+2, etc.)
• Alt + E - Global hotkey to start EasyMail from anywhere in Windows (even when the app isn't running)

You can customize or disable the global hotkey (Alt+E) through the app settings if needed. This lets you personalize how you access EasyMail based on your workflow preferences.

Signatures are not handled by EasyMail as they are part of the Gmail webservice itself. However, you can change your signature via the Gmail settings.

EasyMail lets you customize your experience by managing pinned tabs and services:

1. Adding a sub-app: When using a service with sub-apps (like Gmail with Calendar, Contacts, etc.), navigate to the sub-app, click the three dots menu in the tab, and select "Pin this tab"
2. Removing a pinned tab: Click the three dots menu and select "Unpin this tab"
3. Reordering services: In the main app view, you can drag and drop your pinned services and tabs to rearrange them in your preferred order

Pinned tabs appear in your service list just like other services, allowing for quick access. This organization helps you create a personalized workspace with your most-used services and features arranged exactly how you want them.

Yes! EasyMail integrates with Windows to provide quick access to your accounts directly, without needing to open the main app window first. Here's how:

• Jump List: Right-click the EasyMail icon on your Taskbar or in the Windows Start menu. A list of your pinned services and accounts will appear. Simply click the one you want to open.
• System Tray Menu: If EasyMail is running (even minimized), right-click its icon in the notification area (near the clock). You'll see a menu with your pinned items; select the one you need for instant access.
• Start Menu Shortcuts: EasyMail can create individual shortcuts for each pinned service/account directly within your main Windows Start menu (like regular app icons).

Managing Start Menu Shortcuts:
You can enable or disable the creation of these shortcuts under Settings → General → Start menu shortcuts. This option is enabled by default. If disabled, EasyMail won't add new shortcuts to the Start menu for your pinned items (though existing ones might need manual removal). Jump List and System Tray access remain unaffected.
